TGIF {6}

TGIF is a weekly meme hosted by Ginger at GReads. Each week she poses a question and everyone is invited to join in and share their answers :]

This week's question:
Spooktacular Reads: Which books do you consider festive Halloween reads? Which stories have chilled you to the bone?

Since I already went over this for my Top Ten Tuesday post this week, I'm going to switch it up and list the books that I want to read for Halloween, but will likely not have the time for :P
Sorry about the weird white background behind the words, everyone. I'm not sure what's causing it, but my regular layout will be back after Halloween so everything will go back to normal :]

Possess by Gretchen McNeil
If you didn't catch it from the name, Possess is about demons. What you probably couldn't have guessed anyway is the main characters role in all of it. You're likely thinking that Bridget, the main character, is possessed, right? Wrong. She can actually hear the demons and has the ability to banish them. But there's some serious stuff brewing under the surface and I, for one, can't wait to read it and find out just what it's all about.

Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake
Anna has a male MC which is awesome, but Cas isn't just any guy, no way. He kills ghosts. Sounds redundant, I know, but awesome as well, no? He intends to kill Anna, the ghost of a murdered girl who now kills everyone who steps in her house. Things never really work out as planned though, and Cas doesn't end up getting his ghost, but Anna doesn't end up getting another victim either...

The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting

Violet has the power to sense the dead. Those who have been murdered, to be exact. For most of her life, this power doesn't result in much more than finding the bodies of birds her cat had murdered. Until recently. Recently, there's been a slew of killings in her small town. As more victims turn up, Violet starts to realize she may be able to find the killer. (I'm pretty sure there's some romance too :P)

Frost by Marianna Baer

Leena Thomas is living in in Frost House for her senior year at boarding school. Strange things begin to happen in Frost, but the source of the happenings is a bit sketchy. Could it be that Frost is truly haunted by some unknown entity? Or could it all just be happening inside the unstable mind of Leena?
