TGIF {12}

TGIF is a weekly meme hosted by Ginger atGReads. Each week she poses a question and everyone is invited to join in and share their answers :]

This week's question:

2012 Must Reads: Which books are at the top of your list to be read this year (new or old releases)?

I decided to go with releases before this year since there's plenty of those I've been wanting to get around to.

2011 releases:
Across the Universe by Beth Revis
Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor
Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins
Hourglass by Myra McEntire

I've heard fantastic things about every single one of these books and I'm almost positive I'll love them, but in order to find that out, I really need to find some time to work them into my reading schedule. Don't have a cow though, because I promise I'll read them this year :P

Other various year releases:
Ruby Oliver series by E. Lockhart
Anything John Green
The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting
The Duff by Kody Keplinger

Once again, I've heard fantastic things about every single one of these books, but I haven't found time to work them into my reading schedule. I know not having read any John Green is a tragedy and I plan to fix this soon. I can't make promises on all these, but you can be sure I'll be trying my darndest to get to them.

  1. Lola & The Boy Next Door is such a cute read! You'll like it if you read and loved Anna & the French Kiss :)

  2. Oooh! I hope you get around to reading Daughter of Smoke and Bone soon. :) I loved that book. I also have to get around to reading more 2011 releases.

  3. Ok you just listed so many of my favorites! I read the Ruby Oliver series last summer & LOVED it. I devoured all the books back to back. So fantastic. The Duff was my favorite read of 2010 :) So good.

  4. Daughter of Smoke and Bone is a must read I think. I also have both of Kody Keplinger's on my tbr list. Both sound so good!!
